Dear Colleagues and Friends:
We are pleased to announce that the International Symposium on Emerging Delivery for Innovative Therapy (EDIT 2026) will be held in November 13-15, 2026 at the Worldhotel Grand DushuLake, Suzhou, China.
EDIT, formerly known as SIPCD, has been held biennially since its inception in 2010 and has evolved into a highly regarded international academic conference in the fields of biomedical materials, controlled release technology, and pharmaceutical sciences. The conference was renamed EDIT to better align with the cutting-edge developments in biomedicine and drug delivery. EDIT aims to provide a unique and open platform for scientific exchange—one that not only showcases the latest advances in drug delivery technologies and research findings but also encourages open and insightful discussion on critical challenges and potential solutions, thereby laying a foundation for future progress and clinical translation.
As for our previous symposia, EDIT 2026 will welcome about 350 participants across the world. We have planned 24 plenary lectures and a panel discussion by worldwide leading experts, a rising star session (12 young excellent researchers will be selected to give a short oral presentation, please submit application or nomination by sending the CV to the secretariat, edit@suda.edu.cn), and about 150 poster presentations by prominent researchers and students. The whole symposium is organized in one single session, thus offering you the possibility to be present at all lectures and discussions. We hope that EDIT 2026 will help to shape your future research directions, enlighten and inspire young students and scientists in the community, and offer a lovely venue and atmosphere for social networking with pioneers and colleagues.
EDIT 2026 has following highlights:
350 participants in one single session (without parallel sessions)
24 plenary lectures given by worldwide top scientists
A panel discussion on cell and gene therapy
A rising star session (short lectures by 12 selected young talents)
10 Best Poster Awards presented by J. Control. Release (300 USD)
Vivid social program for networking
Publication of a special issue in J. Control. Release
